pilgrimage

Sweet body,
please show me what is possible
step after step,
different landscapes, different scenes,
always the same sweet longing.

Sweet body,
ups and downs,
oceans and lakes,
cyclones and floods,
fire and war
and still, in every single cell,
in every single breath,
that sweet, sweet longing.

Sweet body,
seduce me
Ignite me with this breath of life.

Sweet longing, sweet longing,
running through and through
thick nectar,
seduce me with your strength,
your power,
raw.

Sweet, sweet body,
open the world
the walls of my mind
and I beg you,
show me what is possible.

Teach me of life,
of birth and death,
of beauty, art, sex, and decay.

Sweet body,
may you open
collapsing frameworks,
timelines, thresholds
as you roar in ecstasy,
calling life through,
sweet body,
made of and from this earth.

It took me so long to love you,
sweet body,
untamed,
seduced when you are hunting,
jumping, roaring, feral fangs.

Sweet body,
you and nature are one.

Sweet body,
the perfect vessel
where oneness wells.

Sweet body,
teach me
bursting open, bringing life through,
your language:

Twisting and bending,
twitching, cracking,
yawning, stretching,
quick exhale, slow move,
opening, gliding, sliding,
hissing, nodding,
tossing, turning,
dancing, jumping

Your building blocks,
Spirit manifest.

To honor life,
I must honor you first.

Immerse in nature, learn from nature’s
secret cycles,
mysteries,
all the magic that is here.

Oh sweet body,
you are a miracle.

Sweet body,
you and the forest are one.
You and the ocean are one.

Please I beg you,
show me what is possible.
